Ok so, the beginning of this track is fuckin crazy, it has you feeling like shit just went acid and your reality is being warped...? and your ass is 'bout to be spat out into some different dimension or something like that; ...and maybe you are! or we are for that matter, as listeners; for on the other side of that crazy flip you got lyrics that smell of ganja paradise, stories of a journey, of a strong love, moon dances, midnight hour bonds and colors, purple! green! red! Colors and haze pouring over the music in ways that keep you listening and enjoying this new gem/jam.
light up cuz you definitely hear Reggae vibes on the bass lines and the overall mood of the song, mixed with other rhythms like the alluring break where the speed drops into a slowed down Porro Pelayero (rhythm from Colombia) where you feel surrounded by the melody, the solid beat and the delicious textures of spacy sounds; the tension builds and breaks, but eventually you are in a sea of hi-energy resolution towards the end of the song, a powerful finish!
